One of the most rewarding aspects of consistently delivering value is the way it shifts perceptions. People stop caring about your age, your location, or your background. All that matters is what they can learn from you – especially when it comes to navigating the complexities of AI and automation.
This truth was beautifully underscored recently when I was invited to a business brunch by one of my clients, Mrs. Deborah Bourgeois. She’s significantly older than I am, and I was certainly the youngest at the table. Yet, she didn’t hesitate to praise my digital skills, literally counting me among life coaches with decades more experience. It was an honor, and a powerful validation.
The food was excellent, but the real feast was the opportunity to sit with women of immense value, learning invaluable tips. This exclusive event was the closing of Mrs. Bourgeois’s 3-day masterclass, where I had previously intervened, sharing priceless AI insights for business development and clarity.
I was particularly pleased when Mrs. Bourgeois told me that some coaches had traveled from afar just to meet me, having heard about the demonstrations I did during my presentation. This kind of recognition is incredibly humbling and gives profound meaning to the long hours spent behind my screen, testing tools, prompts, APIs, and code lines.
